Usage

As with the Logline,  the synopsis is used as a marketing tool as it is succinct and to the point, albeit more detail than the Logline. Busy decision-makers again prefer something short and to the point...and absolutely dazzling. Now, usually these decision-makers prefer to hear a Logline first. If they like the Logline, they'll ask for the Synopis. Be ready.
