Hi there,

I'm not sure if this is the right place to start. So here is my story:

I'm basically a writer for geeky stuff like technical tutorials. I'm also very interested in producing animation movies in the SciFi and/or Humor genre (preferably both genres combined somehow). I already managed to direct and cut a short SciFi animation film with a lot of help from my team.

I'd like to learn (or improve) my writing skills since I did a lot of technical stuff in the past (and I'm not a native speaker of English). I wonder if screenwriting would be the right start or if I should focus more on learning generic story writing to improve my English and find my own style.

On the other hand, I believe it's easier to write dialogs than complete stories and I want to focus on screenplays anyway (movie or audio). I have a bunch of good ideas for SciFi episodes that I would like to realize somehow.

What's your opinion?

Marian
