A type of Camera Lens that is capable of capturing a “widescreen” image on standard 35MM film.  When the final film is “projected” in a theater using an Anamorphic Projection system, it appears on the Movie Screen in the “widescreen” format that has come to be known as “Letterbox” in the consumer Home Video & DVD industry.
