Responsible for scouting the locations called for in the script & evaluating their suitability.  Reports to the Producer; however the Director and Art Director will be involved in approving the location.  After approval, the Location Manager is responsible for securing the necessary permission for the use of the location(s), including agreements with property owners, Film Permits, Police and Fire Dept., parking for Trucks & Crew and a place for the catering truck and a convenient area for the Crew to eat meals.  Also acts as a liaison with neighbors and is responsible for making sure the site (Location) is cleaned up before the crew leaves.
