The actual wetting of pavement (sidewalks and streets) for filming (usually at night with a water truck). The wet streets are more interesting as they reflect the street lights and lighted neon signs. Most often requested for commercials.

Anyone else find that this has become an overused technique? Possibly b/c of it's constant use in commercials?
