Synopsis: By day Gentz lives a boring life working for a convenient store but by night Gentz goes into a out-of-body state and pilots a gaint robot called Angelz. Crazy symbolism and an odd story. Not reccomended for anyone under 18.

NIGHT - GENTZ'S ROOM (1-ROOM APARTMENT)

(Gentz has a lot of movie posters and anime posters)

Gentz sits in front of his computer playing a video game.

Gentz then shuts off his computer and lies on his bed, staring at the ceiling.

Gentz then falls asleep

MORNING - GENTZ'S ROOM (1-ROOM APARTMENT)

Gentz wakes up - His eyes are baggy and he looks really tired

Gentz gets up and changes cloths (offscreen)

Gentz is dressed in his work outfit

Gentz walks out of his apartment room

MORNING - APARTMENT HALLWAYS

Gentz walks down the staircase approaching the door to outside

Gentz walks out of the building

CITY - MORNING

Gentz walks towards the parking lot approaching his car. Gentz reaches into his pocket and pulls out his keys, Gentz unlocks his car in opens the door, Gentz gets into his car and closes the door.

Gentz starts his car.

The car backs up and drives onto the road

Gentz looks at the radio in his car, Gentz turns the radio on. A song plays.

As Gentz drives through the city credits appears

Gentz arrives at the back alley of a convenience store named: The Convenient Life

Gentz turns off his car, the songs stops

Gentz gets out of his car and enters the building through the back door

Rufus sees Gentz entering the store

RUFUS: Ah! Gentz. Only 10 minutes late.

GENTZ: Yeah, whatever.

RUFUS: If you are late again, I'm firing you!

GENTZ: Sure, whatever.

RUFUS: Are you listening to me?

GENTZ: Yeah, I am.

RUFUS: You are hanging on this job by a thread, you hear me?

GENTZ: Yes....

RUFUS: You better be if you know what's good for you.

GENTZ (V.O.): How did I end up with this job? Where did I end up at a dead end?....

Moment of waiting

RUFUS: What are you waiting for? Get to work!

GENTZ: Yeah....

Gentz walks away

CONVENIENT STORE - MORNING

Gentz is waiting at the front counter. Gentz seems very spaced out.

GENTZ (V.O.): I remember this one time when I was a child I lived in a small town near the hills. I used to play with this one person. I can't remember if it was a guy or girl... It could be anyone. We shared the best times of our lives.... Who was it? I wish I could meet this person again... Even if it is just for a while....

Gentz looks up towards the cieling

Gentz puts a gun to his head

FADE OUT.

FADE IN:

Gentz is sitting on a chair in the middle of the convenint store

Gentz is starring at a teddy bear

Gentz points his gun at the teddy bear

TEDDY BEAR: Why are you pointing the gun at me?

GENTZ: I'm sorry.... I have to.

Gentz pulls the trigger

The bears head explodes, stuffing flies all over the place

CITY - AFTERNOON

Gentz is walking towards his car, Rufus is watching Gentz

RUFUS: Gentz!

GENTZ: What?

RUFUS: Would you like to come to the bar with me?

GENTZ: ..... Sorry, I got stuff to do tonight.

RUFUS: Oh, alright...

Rufus walks to his car. Gentz continues to walk towards his car

RUFUS: You know something?

Gentz stops moving

GENTZ: Huh?

RUFUS: I can be more then your boss you know?

GENTZ: Really? Are you saying you want to be my friend?

RUFUS: Yeah...

GENTZ: Did you know I forgot your name?

RUFUS: My name is Rufus. How could you forget?

GENTZ: We don't talk together that much. I'm sure this is the longest conversation we've had.

RUFUS: We should talk more you know?

GENTZ: Yeah... I think we should.

RUFUS: You know? I think it would be easier if we were friends... You know? Our jobs and such.

GENTZ: Yeah.... Thanks for the interesting talk.

Gentz gets in his car

RUFUS: See you....

Gentz drives away

Time Passes

Gentz drives though the neighborhood, a street line up with houses

Gentz stops infront of a house

Gentz gets out of his car and stares at the house

Gentz walks towards the front door of the house

Gentz knocks on the door 3 times

Waiting.........

Tina opens the door

GENTZ: Hey, Tina.

TINA: How much you looking for?

GENTZ: 25 dollars worth

TINA: Okay, wait here.

Tina walks into her kitchen, Gentz waits....

Gentz looks towards the sky

TINA: Here.

Tina gives Gentz something

Gentz puts it in his pocket

GENTZ: Thanks.

TINA: See you later.

GENTZ: Yup.

Gentz walks away back to his car smiling with his eyes closed, his head slightly tilting upwards.

Gentz opens his car door and enters the car

Gentz reaches for his cubby hole located in the center of the car and pulls out a CD. Gentz puts the CD in the CD player of the radio

Gentz starts the car

Gentz drives away

NIGHT - APARTMENT

Gentz parks his car in the parking lot of the apartment

Waiting....

The lights of the car turn off

Gentz opens his car door

Gentz gets out of the car and shuts the door of the car behind him.

Gentz walks towards the apartment

Gentz's eyes are red

Gentz walks up the staircase inside the apartment

Gentz walks towards a door

Gentz tries to open the door

Gentz looks confused. Gentz knocks on the door

GENTZ: Hey! Someone home?

Lisa opens the door

LISA: What?!

GENTZ: Shit! What are you doing in my room?

LISA: Are you stupid? This is my room! Your room is next door.

GENTZ: Crap. I'm sorry.

LISA: What is that smell?

GENTZ: Nothing. Sorry.

Gentz walks away

Lisa slams her door shut

GENTZ: Bitch....

Gentz opens his door

Gentz walks in and closes the door

Gentz walks to his bed and falls ontop of it

GENTZ (V.O.): Rufus.... Could it be him?....

Gentz gets up and turns on his TV

Gentz then drops back onto his bed

Gentz shuffles up so that his head is on the pillow

The TV appears to be a soap opera

SHEVA: David! I have something to tell you!

DAVID: Wait! Before you tell me, I have something to tell you!

SHEVA: What is it?

DAVID: I've been sleeping with your sister!

SHEVA: What?!

DAVID: Yes, It is true.

SHEVA: Oh yeah? Well I was going to tell you that I've been sleeping with the neighbor!

DAVID: Which one?!

SHEVA: All of them.

DAVID: You bitch.

Gentz points the remote at the TV

The TV opens a window with a list of programs

Gentz browses through the programs....

Waiting.....

GENTZ (V.O.): Well.... Nothing I'm interested in on....

Gentz turns off the TV

Gentz lies on his bed

Waiting....

Gentz hears what is going on in the other room

LISA: Hey. What the hell are you doing?

MILES: You don't listen to me anyways

LISA: Are you leaving?

MILES: Yeah, I don't need you or this hell hold.

LISA: Well, fine! See if I care.

MILES: Exactly...

The sound of a door opening and closing is heard

LISAL *screams*

A sound of glass breaking is heard.

GENTZ: Be quieter next time...

A banging on the wall is heard

LISA: Shut up, Gentz! I can fucking hear you.

GENTZ (V.O.): That's the problem with this apartment. You can hear everything that goes on...

Lisa is heard crying...

GENTZ (V.O.): At least it keeps me from feeling totally alone...

Gentz closes his eyes

GENTZ (V.O.): Whatever. It's probably nothing...

Gentz sinks into his bed like it was water

Gentz spreads his body out, Gentz floating above a hilly field, the sunsets in the behind the hills, the entire landscape seems blue.

Gentz lands in the middle of the hilly field

Gentz lies down in the field

GENTZ: Why?

Max walks toward Gentz

MAX: Hello, Gentz.

GENTZ: Who?

MAX: Huh?

GENTZ: Who are you?

MAX: Where I'm from they call me the Mad Hatter. But you can call me Max

GENTZ: Are you the on who brought me here?

MAX: Yes. I am.

GENTZ: Wow, thats cool.

MAX: Aren't you scared?

GENTZ: No, this seems like a dream... Or I'm just very... What?

MAX: I watched you for all my life...

Gentz looks shocked. Gentz gets up and looks at Gentz

MAX: That got your attention.

GENTZ: Are you....?

MAX: No, I am not. I'm just here to give you some info on your new night life.

GENTZ: New nightlife? The hell?

MAX: Yes. You are going to pilot this thing.

A gaint robot ascends from the sky. The gaint robot has angel wings and shines brightly.

Gentz covers the tops of his eys while the wind blows strongly

The gaint robot reaches the ground

GENTZ: What is this thing?!

MAX: This is an Angelz

GENTZ: Angels?

MAX: No, Angelz

GENTZ: Aww cool!

MAX: You seem very enthusiastic about this.

GENTZ: Of course I am! Though this is probably a dream, this is the coolest dream I've had!

MAX: Is it? Doesn't this feel too real to be a dream?

GENTZ: Just tell me how to get in!

MAX: Here, take this.

Max hands Gentz a ring

Gentz take the ring and looks at it

GENTZ: A ring?

MAX: Put it on.

Gentz puts the ring on

The ring shines brightly

The entire world spins around Gentz

Gentz looks at the ring with amazement

Gentz's hair turns red and spikey

Gentz's cloths change, Gentz's shirt turns into a black short sleeved shirt, Gentz gets a spiked arm band on each hand and Gentz's pants turns into a ripped jeans

GENTZ: Angelz Criez!!!

Gentz is suddenly sitting inside the Gaint Robot infront of some triggers, Max is behind him

GENTZ: Tell me how I operate this thing, Max.

MAX: To move you just have to think.

GENTZ: Heheh. This is interesting.

The gaint robot walks around

MAX: Now, to bring out some weapons, you have to pray.

GENTZ: Pray to God?

MAX: I don't know who we are praying to exactly.

GENTZ: Where....

MAX: Huh?

GENTZ: Where did you come from?

MAX: Why this all of a sudden? I'm telling you how to opereate this.

GENTZ: I already know everything I need to know. Now I need to know about you.

MAX: I can't tell you but I can tell you this; I need you to defeat my family.

GENTZ: Your family?

MAX: Yes, they want to destroy Earth and I have selected you to help me.

GENTZ: Why me?

MAX: Because.... You seem to have the most free time.

GENTZ: Oh, gee... Thanks.

MAX: Now, are you ready?

GENTZ: I've been ready since I first seen this thing!

MAX: Break though!

The gaint robot flies away from the field

The sky breaks like glass

The gaint robot flies in though the glass in into a space like orb.

GENTZ: Where are we?

MAX: The sub-concious space.

GENTZ: Sub-concious space?

MAX: Wait, I think she is coming.

Another Gaint Robot flies breaks though the orb. This gaint robot is holding a scythe.

MAX: Driaz....

A window appears on the screen infront of Gentz. Driaz is on the screen

DRIAZ: So you are the one Max picked.

GENTZ: Yes, you got a problem with that?

DRIAZ: No I don't. This is the standard proceedre.

GENTZ: So you want to destroy Earth, huh?

DRIAZ: I personally could care less about Earth but my father wants this done. I always obey fathers wishes. Get ready for a world of hurt.

Max pushes Gentz aside

GENTZ: Hey!

MAX: Driaz! You don't have to do this!

DRIAZ: Yes I do.

MAX: Is there any way out of this?

DRIAZ: Sorry, there is no way.

MAX: Oh, sis...

DRIAZ: I'm ending the transition now. Get ready.

The window on screen dissapears

GENTZ: This is one crazy ass dream...

MAX: How many times do I have to tell you this is not a dream!

Max walks back to his seat

GENTZ: Hmm... So is the fight starting now?

MAX: Look out.

Gentz's Angelz gets hit with by a lazer

Gentz almost falls off his seat but takes a grip of one of the trigger. Gentz pulls the trigger foreward

GENTZ: Dear, God! Give me the power to vanquish evil!!!!

A gaint cross appears in front of Gentz's Angelz

Gentz's Angelz grabs the cross

Draiz's angelz fires her lazer gun at Gentz's Angelz

GENTZ: You can't defeat me, when I got God on my side!!!!

Gentz's Angelz deflects the bullets with the cross

DRIAZ: Tell me, Gentz. Do you believe in God?

Gentz's Angelz charges at Driaz

GENTZ: What does God have to do with this?

Gentz's Angelz swings his cross at Driaz

Driaz's Angelz blocks the cross with her scythe

DRIAZ: Piloting this Angelz is a sin if you don't believe in God!

GENTZ: I don't care! If I defend Earth then it shouldn't be a sin!!!

Gentz's cross breaks

Driaz's scythe hits Gentz's Angel

Max falls of his chair and hits the wall.

GENTZ: Max!!!

Max looks at Gentz in pain

MAX: Gentz! Use it.

Max dissapears

GENTZ: Is he dead?

Gentz looks at the screen in front of him

GENTZ: You are gunna pay!

Driaz laughs

DRIAZ: This is what he gets for betraying his own family.

Driaz's Angelz kicks Gentz's Angelz away

Gentz's Angelz takes the scythe by the handel and throws it away

Gentz's Angelz looks damaged

MAX (V.O.): Gentz! Use it!

Gentz's Angelz raises his hand

A start shines brightly

A sword appears from Angelz's chest

Gentz's Angelz grabs it

DRIAZ: Not if I have anything to say about it.

Rockets fly out from Driaz Angelz back side

Gentz's Angelz takes out the sword and points it at the rockts.

A lazer beam shoots from the sword and blows up the rockets

DRIAZ: What? What is that?

GENTZ: Behold! Excalibur! Now eat shit and die motha fucker!!!

A bright light shines from Gentz's Angelz

His Angelz holds the sword high above him. The Angel then throws the sword at Driaz's Angelz. The sword goes through the Angelz.

Driaz's Angelz explodes

The angel is severely damaged

The cockpit opens

DRIAZ: I give up.

Gentz's cockpit opens

Gentz point his gun at Driaz

GENTZ: You give up?

DRIAZ: Yeah, you can kill me now.

GENTZ: Huh?

DRIAZ: Go ahead... Kill me.

GENTZ: How about no?

DRIAZ: Huh?

GENTZ: I may boast and taunt about how I'm gunna kill you but that's not what I do.

DRIAZ: Are you... Serious?

GENTZ: Yeah and don't you dare make fun of me for it.

DRIAZ: Heheh.... That is your first mistake because I'm not afraid to kill.

Driaz point her gun at Gentz

GENTZ: Eh?

A gun fire is heard

Driaz is shot though the head. She falls over

Gentz looks surprised

Max is behind Gentz holding a gun

MAX: She is serious. She would kill you.

GENTZ: You... Saved me. But at the expense of her life...

MAX: I think it's time for you to go back.

MORNING - GENTZ'S ROOM

Gentz opens his eys.

He is on his bed

Gentz lifts up his covers

GENTZ: I sure hope I spilt something sticky on there....

GENTZ (V.O.): But seriously... Was that a dream? My heart is still pounding. It felt real... But still.... That was a seriously awesome experience.

Gentz jumps out of his bed with huge grin

Gentz walks out of his room closing the door behind him.

Gentz stops by his next door neighbor.

Lisa is heard crying. Gentz's smile turns back to a blank face.

GENTZ (V.O.): I forgot.... This is real life again. I shouldn't let this "dream" change my outlook on life. Life is ugly....

Gentz walks downstairs and opens the door

Gentz walks to his car

Gentz stops....

Gentz waits.....

GENTZ: Screw work.

Gentz unlocks his car and gets in

Gentz starts his car and drives away

MORNING - TINA'S HOUSE

Gentz parks his car and turns off the engine. Gentz waits a while.... Gentz holds the steering wheel firmly

GENTZ: I'm not giving up! I hold in my Angelz hand.... Excalibur!!!

Gentz gets out of the car and starts walking towards Tina's house.

Gentz knocks on Tina's door

Gentz waits a while......

TINA: Who's there?

GENTZ: It's Gentz.

TINA: Come in!

Gentz opens the door and steps in

TINA: I'm sorry but I almost got caught by the cops today, It's been hetic lately.

GENTZ: That's alright.

TINA: Shut the door.

GENTZ: Oh, right.

Gentz shuts the door.

TINA: How much can I get you?

GENTZ: How much you got?

TINA: 500 dollars.

GENTZ: I'll take it.

TINA: Really?

GENTZ: Yup!

TINA: Alright then...

Tina walks into her kitchen. Gentz waits a while....

TINA: Why so much?

GENTZ: Because I believe....

TINA: What....

GENTZ: I don't know why... I just feel the need to fill the void in case I never see it again...

TINA: Well, here it is.

Tina hand Gentz something. Gentz puts it in his pocket.

TINA: See you.

GENTZ: Hey....

TINA: Huh?

GENTZ: Would you care to do this with me?

TINA: Do you mean....

GENTZ: Yeah.

TINA: Well... Right now?

GENTZ: .... Actually how about later. I gotta get my ass to work.

TINA: Okay, drop by later.

GENTZ: Heheh. I sure will.

Gentz opens the door and walks towards his car

GENTZ (V.O.): Look at me. I'm starting to be friendly with everyone. And actually getting excited about work? Who heard of such non-sense...

Gentz gets in his car and drives away

CONVENIENT STORE - MORNING

Gentz parks in the back of the store. Gentz gets out.

Gentz runs to the backdoor and opens it. Gets in the store

GENTZ: Sorry I'm late!

RUFUS: Gentz!!!

GENTZ: Yeah, I know.

RUFUS: How have you been?

GENTZ: I had a pretty exciting night.

RUFUS: Really....

GENTZ: And you know? I would like to go to the bar with you tonight!

RUFUS: Really?

GENTZ: Yup! After work! You and me!

RUFUS: Heheh. Sounds good.

GENTZ: Yeah, now I'm guessing I should get my ass to work now.

RUFUS: Yeah. Get to work.

GENTZ: Heheh...

LISA'S ROOM - MORNING

Lisa is crying into a pillow

LISA: What's the point of living anymore?

Driaz appears behind Lisa

DRIAZ: Do you hate everyone?

LISA: Who are you? How'd you get in my room?

DRIAZ: I've been watching you my whole life.

LISA: You have?

DRIAZ: Do you want to see something interesting?

LISA: Interesting....

Driaz turns into a cross

TINAS HOUSE - MORNING

Tina is lying down on the floor of her living staring at the ceiling

TINA: 4 lives in 1 roof.... And yet 2 of them are dead.
