While it's possible to create a duplicate of a story when you want to start a new script with the same characters (a TV episode, an issue of a comic book) this means there are now two instances of a character's details, which don't update each other. Especially in serial fiction, it would be handy to be able to continually expand a project as new scripts are written.

This can mean either allowing multiple scripts to be attached to a story, or to share characters between two or more scripts, such that updating a character's details in one story also updates these changes in the other stories to which it's shared.

Great input!

Alex,

Great input.   A few users have mentioned this and it's absolutely on our drawing board.

Updates this summer

Hi Rey -- We're pushing some releases this summer and hope to partially or completely address this request.

Second

This would be really useful. When do you think this could be changed? Since there's nothing that says when this topic started I have no idea what year the other post was made.

Still on drawing board

This is still definitely something we want to do.  We did make some progress on it but then had to work on other priorities.  We hope to release in the first quarter of next year.
