Mozilla browser users will notice a security window when trying to use Copy and Paste Functions.

It's annoying, So here to those who wish to fix it.

This is a security issue related to Mozilla Firefox. The following instructions are made to work and only work with fivesprockets.com.

The following link can help explain in more detail.

www.infogears.com/cgi-bin/infogears/mozilla_firefox_copy_paste.html

  • 1) Create a new window or tab.
  • 2) type 'about:config' into your url bar. (No quotes.)
  • 3) Now right click in the content section of the browser, and select New->String.
  • 4) Enter 'capability.policy.policynames' into the "New String Value" box. (Without quotes.)
  • 5) Click OK
  • 6) Type 'allowclipboard' in the "Enter string value" box. (Without quotes.)
  • 7) Click OK

Repeat steps 3-7 with the last three string name/value pairs:

Name Value
Example : capability.policy.policynames Example: allowclipboard
capability.policy.allowclipboard.sites http://www.fivesprockets.com
capability.policy.allowclipboard.Clipboard.cutcopy allAccess
capability.policy.allowclipboard.Clipboard.paste allAccess

Restart your browser. Cut, Copy and Paste freely.

Welcome.

Nope, it a security related issue in Mozilla Firefire to prevent others from capturing your clipboard data. By default it's disabled.
