Can several writers work at the same time?

I basically need for writers to drop in and work when they can or several work at the same time.

Collaboration

Hi Sonny --

Our collaboration allows an unlimited amount of people to work on a given project, including the project's script (we use the term project as we maintain a lot more information about a project than just the script).  When you expand one of your projects, you'll see an option for Collaborators.  This is where the project originator can add read and read/write collaborators.  If you've been added as a collaborator, then you'll see the project under your Shared Projects.

As presently designed, collaborators cannot work at the exact same time.  We could implement that, but there are pros & cons to both token-based collaboration (as we provide) and real-time collaboration ... for now, we've gone with token-based.

Hi Sonny

Can I also add that it might be best even if you do have the option eventually not to have writers working all at once? The only reason I 'm giving my two cents is because I've been a writer on a project where several writers were working toward one end, and it got very messy very quickly. If it's something like a blog, it could work, where writers are making individual changes. But if it's something like a script, you would want to have meetings where each writer discusses what changes they will make, or give each writer a turn at the draft. This will work out much better for you in the long run and eliminate potential confusion and hurt feelings among writers.
