I'm going to be rolling like this, at least with the china balls for sure, for an indy short in a couple of weeks. I'm pretty excited. We're shooting on the Canon XH A1 and a Letus 35 adapter.
My DP buddy says it's also a good idea to black-wrap the china balls (just around the outside) so you don't over-light the wall. That might help your mood-light be a little more promenent. We'll see how it goes.

This is by far one of the best lighting 101 "classes" I've ever seen on youtube. It should be required viewing for everyone setting up a channel LOL. I do believe this will help out many a vlogger because they usually have bad lighting. Very entertaining and I'll probably pull this kit together myself!
